Registered Clinical Counsellor
At some point, we all wish we could feel more seen, heard, and understood. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples who often feel disconnected or stuck in repeating patterns of miscommunication or self-doubt. Many of my clients come to therapy wanting to understand themselves and their relationships better but aren’t sure where to begin.
In our work together, we slow things down and explore what’s happening beneath the surface — the emotions, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others. My goal is to create a calm, open, and supportive space where you can begin to make sense of your story and feel empowered to grow. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical, helping you rediscover your voice, strengthen emotional awareness, and move toward a life that feels more connected, confident, and authentic.
My approach is both compassionate and structured, blending insight with actionable tools. I draw from evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients understand patterns of thinking, feeling, and communicating. Together, we identify what’s keeping you stuck and build practical skills for managing stress, navigating conflict, and expressing yourself effectively.
You can expect our sessions to feel safe, steady, and collaborative. I see therapy as a partnership where growth happens at your pace. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, self-criticism, or challenges in your relationships, I’ll help you develop awareness and skills that lead to lasting emotional change. My goal is to support you in creating healthier communication, greater emotional balance, and stronger self-trust.
My experience working in mental health includes supporting teens, adults, couples, and families in both community and private-practice settings. My experience includes counselling youth in mental-health and behavioural programs, which taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with complex emotions and family systems.
I hold advanced training in CBT, stress management, and trauma-informed approaches, along with Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy.
I believe that each person has an innate ability to grow and heal when they feel understood and supported. My work is guided by a balance of compassion, curiosity, and respect for the courage it takes to reach out for help.
Outside of counselling, I recharge by staying active and connecting with the people and hobbies that bring me balance. I enjoy bouldering, fitness training, playing games, spending time with my partner, friends, and our cat. I also love traveling and learning about different cultures and new perspectives. Whether I am taking it easy indoors or am active and in nature, I find that movement, laughter, and curiosity help me stay grounded and inspired in life and work.
A small joy that grounds me: finding a quiet moment at the end of the day to reflect, unwind, and appreciate the simple things.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to explore new ways of understanding yourself and your relationships, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you grow more calm and confident in yourself and with those most important to you.
