Pal’s interest in counselling arises from being curious and intrigued about relationships and how each relationship develops and transforms in various contexts. Pal’s goal as a counsellor is to help clients develop a deeper understanding of self and others in relationships. Pal’s approach to working with clients is based on mutual respect, honesty and genuine interest in the success of clients. Pal works from a client-centered approach working to support clients to meet their personal and relationship goals.
Pal has worked as a Registered Clinical Counsellor for 14 years, providing psychotherapy and counselling to diverse individuals and families in various contexts. Her approach encompasses but is not limited to: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Traumatic Incident Reduction, Expressive Play Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy, and EMDR, along with addressing issues such as anxiety, depression/low mood, grief/loss, trauma, relationships challenges with individuals and couples.
Pal enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and attending community events. When she gets a chance, she likes to volunteer”.
